The project was to create a visual identity design for an architectural planning and design firm based in Quetta, Pakistan. Arkiverse Studio is a startup offering a set of niche services to a specific group of customers. Their services include Planning and Design for Residential and Commercial projects, Town Planning, Interior Design, Visualization, Project Management and Consultation.
Problem Statement
Arckiverse Studio offers its services to a very condensed and concentrated group of customers. Due to this reason, they were facing a unique challenge, how they should communicate and connect with their target audience. People at Arkiverse Studio were highly energetic and experts in their respective fields. They were looking for a visual identity design that reflected their traits of boldness, energy, and professionalism.
Design Approach
We began working by interviewing the Client about the problems they were facing. We started the research by looking at the demographic of the local population, what kind of design language is used in the client’s industry, and the client’s design preferences.
After several back-and-forth rounds of discussions, visual references, and sketching, we landed on a bold color palette of red and black for the foreground and white for the background to express bold, energetic, and professional aesthetics.
Color and Typography
Throughout the complete visual identity design, the most dominant and primary pallet colors are Maximum Red and Black. To balance these bold and prominent color choices White is used as a secondary pallet. These high-contrast colors were chosen to create a sense of boldness and energy. To complete the effectiveness of the brand a strong and prominent typeface is used. Proxima Nova, a typeface usually associated with boldness and professionalism.
